Five girls and two boys varsity high school soccer teams are local teams who have qualified for California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section (CIFSS) Championship Playoffs. Girls teams in the playoffs are Gabrielino and Schurr in division 5, and Mark Keppel, San Gabriel Mission and South El Monte in division 6. Local boys teams include Schurr in division 3 and Don Bosco Tech in division 7.
In boys games in division 3, Schurr will travel to number 16 ranked Saddleback on Feb. 16, while Don Bosco Tech will host Foothill Technology at 3 p.m. on Feb. 14, in a division 7 wild card game.
In girls games in division 5, number 8 ranked Gabrielino will host Lompoc on Feb. 15, and Schurr plays at number 7 ranked Ontario on Feb. 15. In division 6, on Feb. 15, number 1 ranked San Gabriel Mission will host the winner of Feb. 13 game between host Pacifica Christian of Orange County and Mark Keppel. On Feb. 13, at 5 p.m., South El Monte will host California Academy of Math and Science in a wild card game.
All games, unless noted, will be played at either 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. Many games on CIFSS game brackets do not have game times.
