Rosemead Celebrates Completion of Civic Center Complex Tues. March 27. PDF Print E-mail

ROSEMEAD: The city is inviting residents and neighbors to join them in celebrating the completion of the first two phases of its civic center development with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m.

The project was completed despite delays resulting from the state legislature dissolving redevelopment agencies throughout the state.

ROSEMEAD,—Edison International has established a fund to help the victims of the SCE Rivergrade facility shooting tragedy – Angela Alvarez, Abhay Pimpale and the immediate families of Henry Serrano and Scott Lindsay.

Edison has contributed $100,000 to the fund and will match employee contributions.

A company spokesman said there has been an outpouring of support for the victims of the tragedy from employees, members of the community and businesses.

Contributions from the public will be accepted as well and will be handled through Wells Fargo Bank. Donations are not tax deductible.

Members of the public who wish to donate may do so by mailing a check payable to SCE’s Rivergrade Victims Fund to:
Wells Fargo Bank, SCE’s Rivergrade Victims Fund, 1803 Walnut Grove Ave., Rosemead, CA 91770.
