Rosemead to Commemorate Anniversary of Sept. 11

ROSEMEAD TO COMMEMORATE 15TH ANNIVERSARY
OF SEPTEMBER 11th AT CIVIC CENTER MEMORIAL

      (News release from City of Rosemead)  Rosemead --  City of Rosemead will commemorate the events of September 11, 2001, at its annual September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on  Sunday, September 11, 2016, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

This year’s ceremony, which will include flag raising, parade of state flags and wreath laying ceremonies and a performance of Taps, will take place adjacent to Rosemead’s September 11th Memorial in the Civic Center Plaza at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard.

. The ceremony will also feature the commemorative cars of Fueled by the Fallen, an organization providing aid to military and emergency personnel. The event is free and open to the public.
