Alhambra Investigates Hit-Run on Main Street

Alhambra police have closed off a large section of Main Street between Fourth Street and Stoneman Avenue to investigate an injury hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred earlier this evening.

Police said all parties involved the collision have been accounted for and there no outstanding people or vehicles. Five people were injured in the accident and have been transported to local hospitals. The investigation is expected to continue for several hours and Main Street will be closed.

CBS-TV news reported that the hit and run driver hit at least one person in a crosswalk while hitting other vehicles.
