The new coffee shop, owned by Victoria Chavez, served the round "Rosca de Reyes" cake or sweet bread to guests. Above, Ms. Chavez takes a slice of the Rosco with the help of two employees.
The feast or the Three Kings or Wise Men, (or Epiphany) is celebrated throughout the Latino World. Many Christian cultures also celebrate January 6 as the "Little Christmas. The shop is located at 4545 Cesar Chavez Ave. in the historic Ramirez building. The shop is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Photo by Dave Barron
