Jonathan_LeJonathan Le, eighth grade, will represent Garvey Intermediate School in the Scripps National Spelling Bee competition at the middle school level. 
Jonathan is the winner of the school-level spelling bee held on the campus of Garvey Intermediate on January 23.  Jonathan will be competing at Walter Reed Middle School in Burbank on February 25.  
The winner of the State event will compete in the national finals to be held in Washington D.C.  The Scripps National Spelling Bee is an event held yearly on the campus of Garvey Intermediate and is open to any student wishing to participate. 
Thanks go to Spell Master Scott Castroll for his impeccable pronunciation and to Assistant Principal, Robert Boyd who organized the event.
